Give your child a positive, empowered start to puberty and menstruation by joining a First Moon Circle, a meaningful, inclusive and joyful gathering that supports children through puberty and their first periods with confidence, body literacy, self-care, and emotional safety, going far beyond basic school-based education.
Our next First Moon Circle on May 23 (11–2) invites youth ages 9–12 and a trusted caregiver to come together to learn about and honor the changes that puberty brings. This gathering offers an empowering, engaging, and inclusive space that goes beyond the limited education often provided in schools. Together, we explore body literacy, menstrual health, cycle awareness, and self-care practices so young people can feel prepared, informed, confident, and supported as they approach their first period.
Participants will experience a creative and supportive environment where they can learn how to care for themselves, ask questions, and connect with others navigating a similar stage of life. Each participant will receive a thoughtfully curated gift bag, create a beaded bracelet alongside their caregiver as a keepsake, and take home a 22-page booklet filled with resources and guidance to support them through puberty and beyond.
Caregivers are encouraged to participate fully, with space toward the end of the circle for reflection, connection, and the opportunity to share encouragement and support as their child grows into this next phase of life.
