Art of the Heart’s 3rd Annual

Spring Equinox Retreat

A Weekend to Reawaken Your Creativity + Inner Light

A circular arrangement of colorful, hand-painted drawings of trees and nature on paper, decorated with yellow forsythia flowers, candles in a black basket, and multicolored feathers, all on a woven rug on a wooden floor.

Spring invites us to shake off the heaviness of winter and return to a season of play, possibility, and renewed energy. This retreat is an intentional pause to reconnect with your joyful, curious, Maiden self, the part of you that remembers how to wonder, create, and move through life with openness.

Through a blend of mindful movement, art-making, restorative practices, and time in community, you’ll be supported in gently emerging into the new season with clarity, creativity, and lightness.

March 20-22 l Culver, IN

This retreat is for women and non-binary folks, 18+ who are seeking a gentle, creative, and nourishing space to reconnect with themselves and the season.

Retreat Theme: Return to Playfulness

This Spring Equinox retreat centers around the energy of rebirth, creativity, and play.

Together, we will explore:

Person in beige dress bending down and splashing water in a shallow river with rocky bottom

The energy of Spring & the Maiden archetype
Reconnecting with your inner sense of curiosity, innocence, beginnings, and joyful self-expression.

Art as Play & Exploration
Experience art-making as a process for discovery, not perfection. You’ll be invited into creative exercises that cultivate presence, intuition, and childlike wonder.

Mindful Emergence
Instead of rushing into spring with pressure to do and produce, we’ll practice gentle emergence: allowing new ideas, new cycles, and new versions of ourselves to unfold naturally.

This weekend is a reminder that play is not frivolous or to be left in childhood,

it's a pathway to healing, wholeness, and coming home to your Self.

  • LMHC, ATR, founder of Art of the Heart

Allie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist based in Indianapolis, and the founder of Art of the Heart, where creativity, seasonal living, and inner growth meet. Her work blends the healing power of art-making, nature-based wisdom, and mind-body awareness to support people in reconnecting with their inner voice, intuition, and authentic Self.

With years of experience facilitating retreats, art therapy groups, and community creative spaces, Allie is passionate about creating environments where people feel safe to soften, express, and simply be. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and trauma-informed, rooted in the belief that creativity is a birthright and that being in rhythm with the seasons helps us live with more ease, clarity, and alignment.

Allie’s retreats offer a unique blend of creative exploration, reflection, play, and intentional rest, inviting each person to meet themselves with curiosity and compassion. Outside of her work, you’ll likely find her tending to her garden, sipping tea, sewing patches on well-loved clothing, or creating something with her hands, guided by the beauty of everyday magic.

  • Guest facilitator, Offering the Yoga and Sound Healing experience.

Sandy is a lover of lake days, breathwork, and creating spaces where people feel like they truly belong. She is the founder of The Union Wellness Boutique in Plymouth, Indiana—a community space where movement, mindfulness, and collective care come together.

With 20+ years of experience in the fitness and wellness world, Sandy weaves together intentional movement, breathwork, intuitive energy work, and therapeutic sound to create grounded and nurturing experiences for the whole person.

Her teaching style is warm, welcoming, and deeply inclusive—honoring each individual’s unique body, story, and season of life. Whether guiding mindful movement or facilitating a restorative sound journey, her intention is always the same: to help others reconnect with their inner strength, soften into presence, and feel seen and supported.

Most days you’ll find her balancing coaching, energy work, and mom life… with a coffee in one hand and a crystal singing bowl in the other. She’s here for the real, the raw, and the spontaneous dance breaks in between.
