What if healing wasn't changing yourself... rather meeting yourself with tenderness?
Many women spend years believing they need to become smaller, healthier, prettier, younger, stronger, or somehow "better" before they can fully enjoy their lives. Over time, these messages can become so familiar that they begin to sound like our own thoughts.
The inner critic.
The perfectionist.
The caretaker.
The part that compares.
The part that never feels like enough.
Tenderly is an invitation to slow down and meet those parts with curiosity instead of criticism.
Through expressive arts, reflection, psychotherapy, and gentle parts work, we'll explore the protective roles these parts have played in our lives while cultivating a more compassionate relationship with ourselves and our bodies.
This isn't about loving your body every moment.
It's about learning to stop living at war with it.
During our six weeks together, we'll explore...
The stories you've inherited about bodies, beauty, and worth
The protective parts that developed in response to those stories
How perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-criticism attempt to keep us safe
Body neutrality as an alternative to shame and impossible standards
Expressive arts as a way to hear from the parts of ourselves that words can't always reach
Practices for cultivating greater self-compassion, trust, and connection
What to Expect
Each week includes:
Therapist-facilitated group discussion
Expressive art experiences (no artistic experience needed)
Reflection and journaling
Gentle mindfulness and body awareness practices
Opportunities to connect with other women in a confidential, supportive environment
This is a process-oriented therapy group. There is no pressure to create "good" art or share more than you're comfortable sharing.

Before We Begin
Because this is a psychotherapy group, each participant will complete a brief consultation with Allie before joining. This conversation helps ensure the group is a good fit for your current needs and gives you an opportunity to ask questions before we begin.
A Note About Therapy
Tenderly is a psychotherapy group facilitated by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. While creativity is an important part of our work together, this is not an art class or support group. The primary purpose of the group is therapeutic healing through the integration of expressive arts, reflection, and evidence-informed psychotherapy.
Join Us
Healing doesn't begin when you finally love every part of yourself.
Sometimes it begins much more quietly.
It begins the moment you decide to meet yourself... Tenderly.
