Give worn pieces new life and a little personality. In this hands-on workshop led by Art of the Heart in collaboration with Patina Art Gallery, you’ll learn approachable patchwork and visible mending techniques to strengthen, repair, or embellish a garment or home textile.

We’ll cover the how to's, so no prior experience needed. 

There is sliding scale pricing for this event. Standard rates = the true cost for the event. Community rates = For folks who need a lower-cost option, no questions asked. Supporter rates = Helps underwrite sliding-scale seats and extra supplies.

What to bring

• 1–2 items: jeans, jackets, shirts, canvas bags, napkins, pillowcases, etc. (woven fabrics recommended)

• Optional: any sentimental fabric you’d like to incorporate

What we provide

• Assorted fabric scraps & patch shapes (denim, cotton, linen)

• Needles, pins, thread, embroidery floss, thimbles, fabric scissors
